5Great bike for the price
By Michael Mitchell
Bought this bike as a gift and it seems like it is a good bike for the price. I had no problems assembling the bike, although the included instructions are pretty much useless. I have worked on bikes before and own several others (road bikes and mountain bikes), so I knew this would not be top quality parts, but it does look sharp and as long as it works, I think the recipient of the bike will enjoy it. I think the color shown in the picture is an accurate representation (the bike is more of a light blue color.) The front fork is white, which contrasts nicely. The artwork is very nice as well, nothing too crazy.

The box arrived in poor condition, however, the bike appears to have been well padded in all the essential spots. Several of the parts are wire tied together to fit the parts in the box efficiently, and you will need a wire cutter or scissors to remove these. I could probably have used a second person to help me remove the bike from the box, but I managed to get it out by myself. I would recommend keeping the box and flattening it to give you a soft, protected surface to work on while assembling the bike. Also, don't throw out the box until you are fully done assembly just in case any parts were left in the box.

The only assembly required is: (1) installing the front tire which works best if you deflate it so it easily fits between the brake calipers and then tightening the two bolts, (2) installing the handlebar into the stem which is just one hex bolt, (3) adjusting the angle of the handlebar which is just two hex bolts, (4) installing the pedals which requires a wrench, (5) inserting the seat post into the frame and tightening a quick release clamp, and finally (6) fully inflating the tires. Of course, I checked all other visible screws and bolts to make sure they were tight as well. The most complicated step is step 2, installing the handlebar into the stem, because it is tricky to get everything straight. A second person might be useful to hold the bike while you tighten that bolt and to help you make sure it is lined up properly.

5good bike for trails
By Humpukpuk
Bought this bike for riding on trails and dirt roads and it works like a charm. Instruction is not friendly user and need to change the saddle for comfort. Before taking the bike for a joy ride, adjust the brakes as you don't want to burn the tires or worn out the brake pads. Try changing the gears during test ride to make sure it works perfectly before you take it for riding on trails.
